  • Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Local Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  1. Residency Requirement:
    • Applicants must be natural-born Camileños, meaning either one or both parents are from Camiling.
  1. Academic Excellence:
    • Graduating elementary pupils and senior high school students who belong to the top 10 (not top 10%) of their graduating class are eligible.
    • A general weighted average (GWA)of at least 86% is required from Grades 1 to 6 and from Grades 7 to 12.
    • No grade lower than 80 in any subject during the given school year.
  1. Financial Need:
    • Applicants must be indigent, with a gross family income not exceeding Php 120,000.00 per annum.
  1. Character Assessment:
    • Applicants should possess good moral character
  • Documentary Requirements

Applicants must submit the following documents along with their application:

  1. Form 138 (Report Card): A copy of the most recent report card.
  2. SF10: School Form 10 (formerly Form 137), which provides information on the student’s academic performance.
  3. Certification from the School Principal: A document verifying that the applicant belongs to the Top Ten in their graduating class.
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character: A letter from the school attesting to the applicant’s positive character.
  5. Certificate of Indigency from Barangay: Proof of financial need.
  6. Diploma: If applicable, a copy of the high school diploma.
  7. Result of Entrance Exam from Preferred School: For those applying to specific institutions.

          Interested students should submit their applications to the Business Permits and Licensing Office no later than June 30, 2024. Additionally, applicants are required to provide a location sketch of their residence at the back of the Application Form.
